BIOGRAPHY

Augusto Zubiaga (Basque Country, 1965). PH.D in Fine Arts,  multimedia artist and Assistant Professor (Tenure Track)
of the Sculpture Department, in the Fine Arts Faculty, University of the Basque Country, Since 1996.

– His short videowork “TRIPTIKO” was selected in EMAF 2000 Osnabrueck
– Winner in the “Festival de Creación audiovisual de Navarra” with his work “NIRE AMAREN ETXEA” in 2000
– Awarded in the “Festival de Video de Vitoria” in 2001
– His installations (Low tech cinematography and electronic art) have been seen in Basque Country, Spain, England, Germany and Austria.
